Being Boss: Leaders and Biz Owners

Our purpose is to discuss the challenges of being boss, whether it's as a female leader or manager, or as a business owner/entrepreneur. We'll gather to talk about work-life balance, career transitions and meet to lift each other up on our ultimate pursuit of a purpose-driven life. A little bit about my background as Circle Moderator: I'm an entrepreneur and professional digital strategist/brand storyteller and worked in corporate leadership/management roles for many years. I've been working full time since I was 17 as a retail manager, freelance journalist, business-to-business salesperson, social media marketing manager and marketing director in that order. I have a B.A. in print journalism and A.A. in graphic design. I recently left my corporate management position to start my own business, which has been a scary yet rewarding adventure! I am excited to connect with other savvy business owners to learn, grow and encourage one another. Our circle meets near Pacoima/North Hollywood monthly.
